SoCal Off-Road School – Service Participation Agreement
Company: SoCal Off-Road School (“SOS,” “we,” “us”)
Contact: info@socaloffroadschool.com
We’re excited to have you ride with us! Before we get going, we need to lay out some simple terms to keep things safe, fair, and clear. By booking or joining any SOS class, tour, or event, you agree to the following:
1. Who Can Participate
Riders must be at least 18 years old. Under 18 you’ll need a parent or guardian to sign on your behalf.
If you’re operating a motorcycle on road, you must hold a valid driver’s license.
2. Acknowledgement of Risk
Off-road riding is an adventure — and with adventure comes risk. You understand that injuries (and worse) are possible when riding motorcycles.
You’re responsible for your own decisions on the trail. Our instructors will guide you, but they can’t remove all the risks.
3. Liability Waiver
By joining an SOS event, you agree not to hold us, our instructors, contractors, or partners responsible for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur.
You’ll also sign a separate Liability Waiver before riding — this is a requirement for participation.
4. Payments & Cancellations
Full payment is required at the time of booking, except where explicitly instructed not to.
Cancellations: 14 days before the event = full refund; less than 14 days = credit only; no-shows = no refund.
We run events rain or shine (unless conditions are unsafe, in which case we’ll reschedule).
5. Equipment & Gear
If you rent a bike or gear, please treat it like it’s your own. You’ll be responsible for damage caused by careless or reckless use. If you broke your bike you would fix it. Same applies here.
Proper riding gear is required: helmet, boots, gloves, and protective clothing.
6. Media & Content
We sometimes take photos and videos during events. By participating, you agree we may use these for marketing unless you tell us otherwise in writing.
Our training materials and content are for your personal use — please don’t copy, resell, or share them without permission.
7. Respect & Conduct
Please follow the instructions of our team and ride responsibly.
Unsafe, reckless, or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the event without a refund.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of California. If any disputes arise, we’ll work to resolve them in San Diego County.
9. Updates to These Terms
We may adjust these terms as needed, and the latest version will always be available on our website.
10. Agreement
By booking or participating in an SOS event, you confirm that you’ve read and agree to these terms.
